बॉलीवुड एक्टर्स रितेश देशमुख और उनकी पत्नी व अभिनेत्री जेनेलिया डिसूजा ने मिलकर अपने अंग दान करने का फैसला लिया है। दोनों ने नेशनल डॉक्टर्स डे पर ये निर्णय लिया है। जेनेलिया ने सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो शेयर किया है, जिसमें रितेश के साथ मिलकर उन्होंने इसकी जानकारी दी है। साथ ही फैंस से भी इस नेक काम के लिए अपील की है। 

इस वीडियो में रितेश ने कहा, 'हैलो, मैंने और जेनेलिया ने इस बारे में काफी सोचा, डिस्कशन भी किया, लेकिन दुर्भाग्यवश अब तक नहीं कह पाए, लेकिन 1 जुलाई को को हम ये कहना चाहते हैं कि हम दोनों ने मिलकर एक प्रण लिया है। हम अपने ऑर्गन्स डोनेट करने का फैसला लिया है।

We want to thank Dr Nozer Sherier and FOGSI for inspiring us. इसके बाद जेनेलिया कहती हैं, 'हां, हमने अपने ऑर्गन्स दान करने का फैसला लिया है। हमें लगता है कि जिंदगी से बड़ा तोहफा कुछ नहीं हो सकता। सबसे अच्छा उपहार जो आप किसी को दे सकते हैं, वह है 'जीवन का उपहार। अगर आपको ऐसा महसूस होता है कि ये आपके तरह की चैरिटी हो सकती है तो प्लीज आगे आइये और प्रण लीजिये, जैसे हमने लिया है।'

इस वीडियो को इंस्टाग्राम पर शेयर करने के साथ ही जेनेलिया ने कैप्शन में लिखा है, 'आज डॉक्टर्स डे पर हमने अपने ऑर्गन्स डोनेट करने का प्रण लिया है। बता दें कि जेनेलिया और रितेश के इस फैसले की सभी जमकर सराहना कर रहे हैं।

ताहिरा कश्यप ने मेडिकल स्टाफ के साथ तस्वीर शेयर करते हुए लिखा- मुझे यह नहीं पता था कि डॉक्टर्स डे भी होता है। लेकिन मेरी हाल ही में हेल्थ ने उनकी वेल्यू सिखा दी। यह तस्वीर मेरे 12 वें दिन और आखिरी कीमोथेरेपी सेशन की है! तारीख कभी नहीं भूल सकती। 5 जनवरी 2019 और हरे रंग में नर्स चॉकलेट का एक बॉक्स पकड़े हुए है जो मैंने उन सभी के साथ साझा किया था, मैंने ईमानदारी से आभार व्यक्त किया। मेरे डॉक्टरों विशेष रूप से डॉ. मंदर नादकर्णी को बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद। अगर इस कोविड की स्थिति नहीं होती तो मैं डॉक्टरों और नर्सों को चॉकलेट के एक और डिब्बे के साथ भेंट करती, जो वास्तव में हम सभी की देखभाल करते हैं! मेरे पास चाहे जितने भी सेब हों, मैं कभी भी डॉक्टरों को दूर नहीं रख सकती।

I never knew #doctorsday even existed earlier, but my recent health ordeal has made me value all of them so much! This picture is from the day of my 12th and last chemotherapy session! We finally tested Negative of coronavirus... after a month!
